The legacy of Lowe & Young began in 1949 when Don Young and Roy Lowe opened a combined tractor dealership and gas station. In 1959, the company started selling Massey Ferguson® equipment. Eventually, we expanded our inventory to add a variety of other brands, including Fendt®.
Throughout the years, our ownership has changed slightly. In 1979, Carlton Steiner, Walt Stutz, and Don Young purchased Roy Lowe’s shares. In November 2011, Carlton Steiner retired as president and CEO and sold his majority stock to current owners Bill Hartzler, Jason Steiner, Craig Forrer, and Bill Boreman. Despite these changes, one thing remains—our unwavering commitment to the best customer service possible. Having parts in stock when you need them remains top priority at Lowe & Young.
We currently have 35 employees throughout our service, sales, parts, and accounting departments that offer over 100 years of combined experience. Lowe & Young has the knowledge and know-how to keep your operations going strong.
